So, most things. We were surprised too.

• The videos you record and import, projects, scripts and suflör reports. The badly framed ones too. Especially those.
• The prompter following your voice and automatic captions: the iPhone's own speech recognition, on the device. Your phone is listening, but only for you.
• Your monthly AI allowance, in the device keychain. Your phone keeps count, not us.
• AI memory: preferences you tell the AI, like "remember: always yellow captions". Kept on your phone, sent only along with your AI edit requests, and deletable one by one in Settings → Intelligence → AI memory. An elephant's memory, the erasable kind.

For AI edit, a few small, low-resolution pictures of the edited video go too, so the AI doesn't put the title across your face. The video file and its sound never leave. It looks, it does its job. Romantic.
• Cloud captions (optional): the speech audio. If you turn it on. If you don't, nothing.
• Stock B-roll: chosen sentences and short English search terms. Things like "coffee cup close-up". Not your secrets.

Who processes it

We don't train the AI in a basement ourselves, let's be honest. Requests pass through our server (Cloudflare) to AI and stock footage providers: OpenAI, Groq and/or Anthropic (text, picture and speech recognition), Pexels (stock video search). They are used only to produce the answer; we do not store their content. The providers' own policies apply. Theirs aren't this funny, fair warning.

For face tracking, Apple Vision detects faces in frames of the video you select on your device. The app generates a face count and coordinates for each face's position in the frame. It does not create a face identity, face template, or biometric recognition data. Coordinates are stored only in the project file on your device to crop the video and keep a face in frame. They remain until you delete the project and are deleted with it. If you separately enable iCloud backup, the project file is stored in your private CloudKit area until you delete it. These coordinates are not sent to our server or AI providers.

If you permit cloud AI and use AI edit, the face count in scene notes and a few small, low-resolution video frames that may show people's faces may be sent through Cloudflare to OpenAI, Groq, or Anthropic to produce an answer. Frames containing faces are sent only for that request; we do not retain them on our server. Under their standard API policies, OpenAI and Anthropic may retain request content for up to 30 days; Groq does not normally retain inference content but may keep it for up to 30 days for security or troubleshooting. Legal exceptions may apply. If you do not permit cloud AI, this data is not shared with them.

You don't have to make an account. If you do: when you sign in with Apple, an identifier derived from Apple's and, if you choose, your name are stored. We do not receive your email address, and we won't send you a newsletter, breathe. You can delete your account at any time in Settings; your account and sessions are then permanently removed. Not "archived". Not "hidden". Removed.

CueTake+ is bought through Apple; we never see your payment details. We don't know your card number and we don't want to. The app has no ads and no ad tracking, and your data is never sold. If you were watching an ad right now, this bit would be a lot shorter.

Honestly, we're curious which buttons get pressed. Not about you, about the buttons. Only if you opt in using Share anonymous usage in Settings, we collect usage events to improve the app through PostHog (US servers): which features are used, where monthly limits are reached, an export's resolution and frame rate, a recording's length, the outcome of a CueTake+ purchase, the app version, language and device model. They carry a random identifier made on the phone and are never linked to your account, your Apple ID or your name. Your videos, recordings, scripts, captions, project names and screen contents are never sent, and we do not use session replay. Turn it off at any time with Share anonymous usage in Settings. We won't sulk. Okay, briefly. We'll get over it.

If you turn on backup with CueTake+, your projects and videos go to a private CloudKit area in your own iCloud account; they do not pass through our server and we cannot access them. You hold the key. We're not even standing at the door. At launch the app reads monthly limits and feature switches from our server; nothing about you is sent with that request. The app just asks "what are the rules this month?" without saying who's asking.

You can use your rights of access, correction and deletion under KVKK and GDPR through the support link on the App Store page. The acronyms are boring, your rights aren't. CueTake is not directed to children under 13. If you're under 13: congrats on reading this far, now go do your homework.

CueTake is licensed, not sold, to you. So the app is ours, the videos you make are yours. Fair deal. You get a non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use it on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by the App Store Usage Rules, to make personal and commercial content.

The videos you record, the words you write and everything you make are yours. Viral or not, still yours. You give us only the limited permission needed to run the features you choose. Clearing rights to the music, brands, logos and people you use is your responsibility. Think twice before that hit song goes in the background; copyright lawyers don't do jokes.

• Stok görüntüleri sağlayıcının lisans koşullarına uygun kullan. Bedava diye her şey serbest değil.

• Do not use it to make unlawful, misleading or hateful content, or content that infringes others' rights. Nobody wants to watch that anyway.
• Do not reverse engineer the app or our server, get around the allowances or disrupt the service. Curious about the code? Just ask.
• Use stock footage under its provider's licence. Free doesn't mean anything goes.

We may update the app, its features and these terms; we announce important changes in the app. Out loud, not sneakily. The licence ends if you break these terms. The laws of the Republic of Türkiye apply.
